I'm surprised people here on ATS don't get the knock on their door because from what I've read on here I wouldn't be surprised.

This is something I've wondered about too. Still most ATS folk seem to have a pretty clear idea where the line is even if we can see their intent and mindset.

As far as Facebook goes anyone spouting off there has to have a loose screw up top. How can anyone who's aware of our current police state issues not know that you do not say stuff like that on Facebook?

I agree with his point, but....

he does mention shooting federal agents and police officers. Free speech doesn't mean you can threaten whoever you want without consequences.

On the other hand? Oh... (facepalm) How could he be so foolish?

Enough of the Naiz Police state, im fighting back on it, we have our militia's in place I hope officer's will stand with us because if it happen's lot's of people are going to die if there is an armed revolution, but what need's to be done is what need's to be done, those who sacrifice their freedom for security will deserve neither and loose both~benjamin franklin Unconstitutional laws are not laws, anything against the bill of right's is ground for revolution! Will the American people actually have to shoot Federal agent's and police officer's one day or will they stand with us!

Don't invite who you don't want over for dinner

You have it all wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with what he said, nor is it inviting or foolish... sure they may have skimmed over and read your highlighted text... but you should of highlighted because if it happen's, if there is an armed revolution or one day.

This guy could of told the pigs to piss off and learn to read! There is nothing incriminating about this... Either this guy is stupid for showing up at the police station or he is a stooge who works for them pushing an agenda online.

He's talking about "what if" future events that don't exist in the now. You can talk about future enemy war scenarios all you want, would be targets and so on... It's not a crime... that is free speech! Don't fall for this thought police BS!

Well you say that, but if you guess the exact day of a really bad terror attack - i would imagine they would come looking for you to make sure it was a guess and not insider info!

Be careful what you say online because unlike "free speech" where words drift around and either go down somones ears or expire - everything you type into the net stays on the net and one day if they need to, your whole online life will be picked over like fleas on a monkeys arse.

Oh yeah and we can round up the undesirable people in all the communities....
No, it should be... don't be scarred to speak your mind in fear of the Gestapo... Don't fall for this Nazi tactic to shut people up!

wow, what an airhead.....

he sounds like an idiot, and unfortunately, he makes the rest of us who disagree with the current state of affairs, look bad...

he needs to learn how to write, he needs to get his quotes straight, and he needs to learn how to articulate his thoughts in such a way that it doesn't attract the kind of attention he attracted...

they wanted to talk to him because he honestly sounds like a nut.

What is the alternative? I mean, seriously... What would you suggest? If we boycott the vote entirely then local issues from bonds to school board seats go with no say of ours as well. Important and real meaningful things like that which do impact daily life.

Yes..there hasn't been a viable 3rd since Ross Perot, and they made absolutely certain by changes in the law about 3rd parties after him, it'd be a cold day in a hot place before it came that close again.

Given that....and since it seems getting people moving at the community level to TAKE back the system from the primary/caucus on-up is like asking people to extract their own teeth for fun? I'm running out of ideas that do more than make noise and bring short term personal satisfaction with nothing accomplished for it?

Just a note that this has ALREADY happened. We have 207 or so million registered voters. Please tell me what percentage Obama or Romney had out of those 207 million? How about their votes combined?

Ill give you a hint, with those 2 combined they only garnered 58% of all votes BETWEEN the two of them. Things are already being pushed through without proper voting and something as simple as a majority mentality.

For the record Obama walked away with 66 million votes out of 205 million potential voters. The majority HAS spoken, the United States government is just ignoring it

Oh and 66 million (O) or 61 million (R) is still less than the bloc that voted NEITHER at a whopping ~79 million

Yeah well, not only was it foolish it was wrong.

The only way we can effect lasting and constructive change is through peaceful local legislative action.

In short, we have to start going to our town meetings and making level-headed demands for the reduction of unconstitutional and unnecessary official power.

I think what could be gleaned from his post was similar to the founding father's thoughts. Frankly, if you're going to post something like he did, proper grammar, punctuation, and eloquence goes a long way to possibly avoiding The Knock at the door. But think about it; the founding fathers attempted peaceful talks with the King, many times over, and only resorted to things like the Boston Tea Party, and later, Revolution. I'm all for a peaceful entreaty to our government. But remember: our founding fathers were traitors before they were saviors.

As much as I hate crap like that....he had it comming.

That verbage, is scary. What did he think would happen. Im all about revolution, but not posting some disturbing post about violence. Just a dumb move on his part. Its sad though, that we cant say things like that witout getting a visit, but this is the world we live in. Until we chang that there will be more of this.

The usual crew will defend this. Even though the idiot came as close as he could to threatening the lives of cops. Get used to it people, if you make comments that sound like threats online, you are risking being arrested.

He did not call for people to shoot or kill anyone. He called for people to consider what the current march towards tyranny can cause. He was firmly, strongly in the realm of supposition. Not recruitment, not conspiracy to commit....just pure supposition of a future event.

HOWEVER, we frequently saw after the GZ trial the calling for the killing of "white people". Now, "white people" is a very general term, not specifying that any particular person should be killed. Just any number from a particular group.

What makes threatening "white people" different from threatening "cops" or "federal agents"? Are they just a little more of a citizen, so get a little more rights than us, simply because of their jobs? I am not saying that you favor one over the other....but it seems that if we are to be questioned for the above mentioned suppositions, the police and FBI should have been VERY busy questioning FB users and Twitter users after the GZ verdict.

How much you wanna bet that they were not? So there you have it....the badge makes you just a little bit more equal than everyone else.
