-and which conveniently targets only the US,

-but never, say, the KGB, which is the creator of Operation Infektion?

Assange is pushed by the PTB, which tries to gain power over US government. To gain power over government, this shadow government must first created nation-wide hatred against the US government. That's where Assange comes in.
