What is the white dot on ATS top page(s).

Searched but found no threads on this.

Wondering what the 1x1 white pixel is for?

I'm not seeing one on my screen.
I tried it logged in, logged out, home page, new page.
No dot for me.

Now I want one.

| have a 'prompt' bar like when You want to reply and can't find the thing and then the blinking prompt. No dot and | also noticed it was only on the "new threads" | just now had to restart my MacBookPro (first yr. model) because "SWMBO" (She Who Must Be Obeyed) ran the battery down watching porn, now She has My Remee™ Sleeping mask... type something out and blink, blink..



No Shirt, No Shoes, No Dot...

Dead pixel on your screen?
I don't have this white dot you speak of.

I would say it's a dead pixel in your LCD. Pay attention to that spot on other websites. If it's there on other dark backgrounds, you have a dead pixel.

Click on "new topics" from the bar.... scroll to the top and look at about 8o from the ATS logo... or not but if the blinking prompt is there then "YES" | have that too, but like noted ONLY on the "New Topics" prompted from the bar betwixt "top" and "live" Is that what You mean?

You don't have to worry about one dot.

Its when you get three that you explode in a flash of blinding white light.

Not a dead pixel. Shows up on different screens. It's at the bottom of this forum screen, on the left and not at the top.

Some forum screens have it some don't.

I don't see a dot, but I do have a number at the top left of the screen. Apparently I've been branded?

Yeah, I had a DUH! moment. Dead pixels won't screen print as Davespanners said. Interesting quirk though. Now you've got me looking on pages to see if a dot is there. LOL.

Most likely a Google Analytics Pixel Tag... But they're supposed to be transparent.

Google Analytics works by the inclusion of a block of JavaScript code on pages in your website.
