Turkish F-16 shoots down Syrian helicopter

It's speculated that the F-16 used an AIM-9. But the reason that the helicopter fell straight down out of control is because there was no one on board. The crew was able to bail out, using on board parachutes. They were captured and executed by the local rebel group once on the ground.
