If ends could only be justfied,
By the manner of the means,
Which lead to thier existence,
Then the future would begin to gleam,
But as it is,
Its sad to say,
Thats not the world we're living in,
Here the outcome validates,
Monumental sin,
If people could only be mortified,
By damage to thier honour,
Rather than threat to thier lives,
Then there would be an end to horror,
But as it is,
Right here and now,
Our priotrities are wrong,
We'd rather live a little longer,
At the price of freedoms song.
Liberty has died a painful death,
And we only have ourselves to blame,
We fear the fire's unholy breath,
And with fear we fan the flames,
And so we play,
A game with entropy,
A game we will surely lose,
Guiding ourselves onto the blade,
In trying to avoid a bruise.
