A burst of brain activity just after the heart stops may be the cause of so-called near-death experiences, scientists say....
In studies of rat brains, activity consistent with human near death experiences was recorded during death. I personally am an atheist, so this is
something that does not surprise me. The progress of neurology is unstoppable and would accept the truth what ever it might be. Potentially that could
mean the discovery of a transcendent reality. This is a step forward in understanding the function of near death experiences and/or puts a final nail
in the coffin of transcendent mysticism.
Maybe evangelism just got a lot more interesting, rat jesus anyone?
