In the past few weeks we keep hearing about the atrocities the Syrian government did to its people, yes its hard to believe that these things still go on. BUT

What is Obama and all the others so scared of? what are they not telling us on why they want to go and respond with Military Action?

Is this just a ploy for something else that is going on to keep our minds focus on Syria instead of our own country?

Why do they want to help the Rebels? and arm them with weapons? Did the US do a back ground check on them to see if they meet the Standards to own a weapon?

What is in it for the US but another battle that we as a Country can not afford or win?

So back to the original Question Why should we attack Syria? AM I MISSING SOMETHING?

silly TankCommander....

they apparently don't give a hoot once those in question are past the 200 mile [international waters] mark.

take the fight to them, i guess, is the mentality .... even if you have to provide the weaponry [and sometimes, even the people] necessary for it to happen in the first place. :shk:

This desire to attack Syria started LONG before the guy gassed folks. No, something else is at play here, and the administration isn't even pretending to care that Americans want a REASON to do it. THAT is the really scary part...the fact they don't seem to even care about it...because they know nobody will call them on it.

Heck, the same press that chastised the war drums months ago, is now chanting that we should have already done the strikes! What the hell? It's like they aren't even TRYING to hide the corruption anymore.

I've overheard a few different people mention the possibility that if Obama doesn't react that they would come and poison our water supply.. Is that actually being told to people and worse, people believe it? It's not as if the US doesn't have a history of fabricating information, and after hearing that in a couple of different conversations I really do sense some war propaganda/fear mongering going on by the media to gain some kind of control over the people...
How the hell could they contaminate our whole water supply? It's not even possible.
