I feel there is too much information on ATS pages, they are overloaded with info you don't need all the time, It feels almost as if you were in the pilot seat in a big airplane.

Can we not get down to basics, slim down a little, get the overweight off ?
What with the colors, the figures, tabs, controls and whatnot ?
Is this all really needed ?
I realize every website and forum has its own personality, but I start to languish after the simple yet efficient looks of some well known other conspiracy forum...

Please don't consider this as mere pointless criticism, it's a suggestion and also an enquiry in other opinions about this.

I'm not sure I see any unneeded info. I am using the new version though. I always liked ATS because it was easier on the eyes than other sites.

I can't really get at what you are saying. Are you more used to the format where you have to pick a forum category go there then find a topic you like and post there? If ATS was like that I wouldn't come here anymore.

The one bar at the top lets me navigate the site without being in any specific dead end path. I feel more like I am above the whole site rather than lost among the forest of posts.

I am not sure, maybe my gripe is more about the colors than those other things... those colors give it a heavy and somewhat gloomy feel.

I personally have always appreciated the darker visual tones it has. This is much easier on the eyes than bright white backgrounds.

But hey, use the new forums, they are much more plastic fantastic looking. They are much cleaner appearing too, and you can toggle the schema from light to dark. I think it looks great, in either color, though mine is set to the dark theme.

I am going to keep using the old format, until the new is rolled out across the board to all members, using the regular login method, rather than the group access login.

Might just be me, but thats how I want to roll for now. The new site, when its fully intergrated will be pretty badassed, but until then, I am happy enough to plod along with what I know as the original format (although I am aware that this is by no means the first version of ATS's website design.
