Drone over boston week of Boston bombing

Hello people, these pics were ultimately what lead me to come out of the shadows and register on ats a few months ago..It took me as long as i've been a member to figure out how to post these pics.

A few days after the Boston bombing i was driving and noticed something strange flying over head. I watched it for a good 15 minutes and it finally got close enough for me to take a pic with my iphone. They aren't the best pics but they are the best i coulg get with my phone that has a limited zoom

it looks like a cock roach on the photo lens.

I was being sarcastic..If it was a bug on an iphone lens it would be black as the lens is smaller than most bugs. Definitely not made up

Registered, but had maybe 4 posts .Wasn't until all the caca hit the fan that i introduced myself and started posting.

It looks like one of those helicopter drones they've been pushing at police departments around the US.
Was this during the time they had Boston locked down looking for the Tsarnaevs or after?

It was a few days after they had been captured. With the naked eye it did look like a scaled up version of the 4 copter drones.
