Strange Dream, thoughts?

A few months ago, I had a strange dream. I dreamed I woke up in my bed and there was a bright light outside in the back yard that I could see coming through the sliding glass doors to the back porch, but I couldn't see the object making the light. I started to sit up in my bed and thought to myself as I looked at the door that I was going to see aliens very shortly. Then my vision kind of blurred for a second, almost like it reset in my head, and then I just laid back down without really thinking about why. I was looking out the sliding glass doors to the porch when all of a sudden, whatever was making the light shot off very quickly.

When it did, I felt a kind of shock wave through my body starting at my head and heading down to my feet, very fast, extremely fast. This woke me up and I sat up in bed shocked thinking, if not actually saying it, what the hell was that!?!?

Now, I do believe the first part was a dream. There was something strange about the geometry in my bedroom. It didn't quite match up with reality, and I don't recall seeing any curtains on the sliding glass door, which there are. There are just subtle things like this that tell me it was a dream and that I don't actually think I was abducted or anything like that. Not to mention that my wife did not wake up and our two dogs sleeping nearby didn't seem to feel anything.

But that shock wave, I've never experienced anything like that in a dream. It felt real. Very real. A week or so later I woke up late at night and had a feeling that a ufo was near. I kept thinking the words "ufo", and then I felt the shock wave again, but not quite as strong. I never saw anything. I said a quick prayer and then fell back to sleep.

Anyone have any ideas what could have happened? or experienced a similar shock wave? I read one encounter where the lady described feeling a shock wave from a ufo, but it was a different situation. I'm just not sure. I'd appreciate any insight. I'll check back in a day or so.
