Having said that, I watched this live yesterday. I could have stood up and cheered when he finished.

Nope. I don't like his refusal to hear anything negative about Islam, while refusing to hear anything good about Israel. Both extremist factions are just as bad in my view.

I'm not his biggest fan, and don't agree with everything he says, but then who agrees with everything someone says?

When i saw this watching the debate, i had a massive grin on my face, it was perfect. A brilliantly put forward speech; clear, eloquent and to the point with no script or teleprompter in sight. Said exactly what i and many others have been thinking.

Galloway himself, I personally believe to be one of the few people whose intelligence would be improved by the vigorous application of a hammer drill to his skull. His habitual pandering to certain sectors of society, and his blatant willingness to do anything to get his face on the television, say anything to be heard on radio, make him one of the people I find myself least able to avoid loathing.

However, what he said in this video, why so ever he said it (to gain support, rather than out of actual belief in anything he was saying) echoed with the reverberation of truth.

I am probably the last person on Earth who would agree with the smarmy self obsessed git, but he sure as hell had some good points to make in that video, and I am glad that someone in that house got up and made those points. Its just a shame that it had to be that halfwitted, moronic, only barely multi-cellular twit.

It's a good video anyway. Galloway really hits the nail on the head.

Don't understand why he's hated. I understand why his name might be run through mud tho.

Don't get too caught up in the hype for Galloway, although he's right on this he's also a huge Radical Muslim apologist (and now a convert) who is on the brown paper bag deals with many of the top Radicals, he denies it of course but the financial irregularities have been found previously.

George's favourite trick is to pick a hugely topical subject where a minister or the PM has screwed up and turn it into high camp acting for the masses. Personally he's a horrible little man who thinks more of the Middle East than those people here.

Well I concur with Mr Galloway on this occasion.

However he plays to the crowd. He is the complete showman. Not on this occasion, because he didn't have the chance, but watch many of his videos on youtube. As he is about to give his lecture or berate the shows host, look at what he does with his glasses. He is an actor, but better than most in his position.


I do agree with many of his policies, even though he annoys the hell out of me!
