The tie colors are all messed up!

What is going on? The tie colors for politicians are supposed to be rather simple, blue for Democrat, red for Republican, check out this 2013 inauguration:



See? Obama is wearing a blue tie, everything seems at least kind of in order. But check this out:



John Kerry is wearing a red tie here when he is talking about Syria, but in every other YouTube speech his tie is blue:

A red tie is a "power tie". It conveys leadership, passion, and good luck. He chose that tie for a reason. It's to show they mean business.

A green tie means Al Gore is in the building.

A yellow tie means there is a long line at the White House potty.

A grey tie means the aliens have taken over.

Maybe his red tie has been sitting around since forever ago, or he borrowed it from the Bush family. Anyway, here he is with his fresh, pristine blue tie.



He looks a lot more credible, in the video, he kind of looks like Uncle Sam.

Although I have gone through pictures of Kerry and Obama, and have noticed that Kerry tends to wear red ties in some instances, and Obama a black tie, oddly enough.

If I were a politician, I'd wear a paisley tie, just to mess everyone up.

Exactly a blue tie is what you choose when you want to be seen as telling the truth, being sincere or sympathetic. It has nothing to do with party affiliation and everything to do with the message they are trying to convey.

The color code isn't needed. If a politician's lips are moving and sound resembling words are coming out, it is all BS.
