Not for the article as I find it quite "light" but for the concept of Ecological Debt Day.
I don't agree with the numbers thrown in that article or on the wiki page, as they aren't backed up with clear and explicit examples, but the idea
and concept of being able to measure if we have or haven't reached the point we're consuming more than our planet regenerates yearly, 1 decade, 25
yeras,... is actually interresting.
Not for natural ressources as Gold, Oil, gas and so on but I can see some use in monitoring this for ressources that have a shorter renew lifecycle
and this country region wide.
Drinking water
Wood
Food from natural ressources and not from industrial stuff. (fishing mainly I presume)
Cultivation soil, renew vs depletation
...
