It's a shame you didn't get a photo of it.

I've been seeing a LOT of Class 7 Hazmat moving west lately. I mean a lot more than I usually see. I passed five or six casks moving west, all independent of each other the other day, in just a few hours. Usually I see one or two every six or seven days, but a couple of times lately I've passed five or six in a day, all of them heading west.
this is what I was thinking when I typed my earlier response, but after thinking about it I'm wondering if the "command center" was nothing more than those Army "Cattle Trucks" (a trailer that looks like a cross between a cattle truck and a accident scene command trailer)

The current Minuteman force consists of 500 Minuteman III's located at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., Malmstrom AFB, Mont., and Minot AFB, N.D. The last round of base realignment and closing decisions has forced a realignment of Minuteman missiles from Grand Forks AFB, N.D., to Malmstrom AFB. The possible implementation of Start II, means that Minuteman III will become the only land-based ICBM in the Triad.

The nuclear transport trucks are very low key as to not attract attention. Just research the Office of Secure Transportation. You wouldn't notice such transportation unless you look for the government license plates.

well it does say:

To be honest about this, I'm not sure how up to date the site is regarding it's equipment data.
In March 1995, the 1995 Base Realignment and Closure Commission selected the 321st Strategic Missile Wing for inactivation. The wing was first downgraded to group status, and the 321st Missile Group inactivated on 30 September 1998. GFAFB's first ICBM silo was imploded in accordance with the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START II) in 1999 and the last silo imploded in 2001.[3]
