Worst songs ever recorded

I used to have a "terrible 'music' collection". I sold it before we moved to the Caribbean for $400 at a yard sale.

I don't remember all of the records that were in the collection, but this is what I do remember:

1. David Soul -- Don't Give Up On Me Baby
2. Leonard Nimoy -- Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town
3. William Shatner - Lucy In The Sky Of Diamonds
4. Farah Faucett - Windmills of My Mind
5. David Hasselhoff -- Let it Be Me
6. Don Johnson - Heartbeat

And who could ever forget this one?

Wow, now those are really bad songs, and you had more that were even worse than the 6 songs above, and you got 400 bucks. Was the person who bought them from you deaf?

Agreed... "Rockstar" is one of the worst songs ever recorded. Nickelback really sucks.

While "Rockstar" may be bad to you..it's better then everything posted in this thread. It's far from one of the worst songs ever recorded.top 5,000? Maybe. You really must not listen to much music if you think that is one of the worst songs ever recorded..and this is coming from someone who hates Nickelback.

Actually, I do listen to a lot of music, and I have a pretty wide playlist of genres, from punk to classical. I love The Clash and Vivaldi equally. My distaste for that nickelback song is purely subjective.
There are a couple 'most hated' songs posted in this thread that I happen to think are good songs!
That's what's interesting about the subject. It's completely subjective. What I consider harps from heaven might be fingernails on a chalkboard to the next person.

OK, another entry:
It has 10,000 'likes'. I despise it. I think that on the Sappy Scale from 1 - 10, this songs rates a 900.
I just crack up when she sings: "And they killed the mountain people"

When I think of Leonard Nimoy singing 'Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town', the term "wrong on so many levels' comes to mind.

Okay I'll play...this song should have been the theme song for ANIMAL PLANET....
