The world's first geneticallymodified humans have been created, it was revealed last night.

The disclosure that 30 healthy babies were born after a series of experiments in the United States provoked another furious debate about ethics.

So far, two of the babies have been tested and have been found to contain genes from three 'parents'.

Fifteen of the children were born in the past three years as a result of one experimental programme at the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science of St Barnabas in New Jersey.

As it happens, this cytoplasmic transfer happened back in 2001, and its only now that for some stupid reason, the DailyMail has decided that it is news.

On the plus side if they were born 12 years ago then they should be developing their mutant super powers soon.

When did Marvel own TMNT? They were owned by Mirage and then Nickelodeon. They began as a parody of Marvel comics (they were created by the same accident that created daredevil - at least that's how it seems eastman and laird intended).

This is old news, I believe.

I think that humans have done a lot less ethical things in their days. The babies seem to be healthy.
Hopefully they didn't spray them with pesticides after they were born

Sorry I thought they were bought out by Marvel but I'm not seeing anything to corroborate my faulty memory chips. Uh oh...
