Its only normal if we or you accept this liberal agenda as normal.
If one or any of these situations you have mentioned come your way, fight it , if not then I guess you can put your head down and pretend its not there, that seems to be the norm of the time we are in now.
you can only poke the 800 lb. gorilla in the room so long and this will stop................badly, but it will stop.
I have always believed that one person can make a difference.

Every single one of these new norms reeks of fear. The sheer terror at living with them and the sheer terror of dying for rejecting them. Fear is immobilizing. We're especially terrorized by each other because if somebody sees something that scares them they'll say something. So we do nothing.
Like any of us are going to get out of here alive anyway.

Honestly Beezer, I think we're already in a civil war. While on the one hand as you and your fellows like to point out we have people holding out their hand when they could be more self reliant, but we also have the fat cats and there are a lot of them, who say nope can't charge $.64 more for a value meal so we can pay $15/hr. Those who insist that people don't need to be paid fair wages, have good schools, unions and access to health care and those of you who agree. Then there's the social issues.

We need to shine the light on the boogie man. Expose him as a common enemy to everyone.
Time to stop being afraid.

Beezer I totally agree that we all have a common enemy and that becoming a single voice is the only answer that can save us. Not just Americans, but free people the world over - as what happens in the US eventually bleeds out into all western and many eastern nations.
The hang-up is that we are all, each of us, so woefully passionate about what separates us that it makes finding common ground seem so damned unlikely.
IMO putting aside personal bias for the common good is sound logic. Others see putting the common good ahead of their individuality as reprehensible and socialistic.
Finding a bridge past these difference is the challenge. How do we find a way past it?

I agree. Now if we could just get everyone to agree on who the boogie man is. But as this thread so clearly demonstrates, some say its religion, some say its government, some say its corporations and between all the other pros and cons they feed us on a daily basis its a lot more complicated than that. Nobody agrees on anything.
Look at Ron Paul. He hammered on liberty for all and it scared the **** out of half the population.
The hard part is agreeing on a common enemy.
Sad to say that there are those even on this site that would chose to side against most of us than with us.

Who do you think the common enemy is?
