Integrating twitter status in posts just like "VID:YOUTUBE"?

I hope this is the right place to bring this question/request up:

I would find it very helpful if a twitter status (tweet) could be integrated in a post just like a youtube video through the option VID: YOUTUBE

Currently I need to:

a) do a screenshot of the tweet,
b) upload it as a picture,
c) add a link to the original tweet (for easy verification)

and

d) copy/paste the actual text in an EX-TEXT window so it also pops up in the search.


Any hope of this happening?

Embedding tweets requires that we allow users to inject HTML and JavaScript into posts, since the Twitter embed schema is much more complex than YouTube's which has only one variable. This is a security risk we cannot allow. Sorry.
