Down here in Florida we get these on the sewers after heavy rains. Bet where everyone else lives the same thing happens. The article or quote mentions that it is planned drainage so there must be a drainage pipe. Fill your sink, pop the cork and the same thing happens.

I'm not really sure how they happen and all that but there more or less an underwater tornado. This one in the video is a really strong, thats crazy.

That is pretty crazy, especially with it being so close to land.

How deep can that area be where the whirlpool is at?

That is just crazy. I didn't know Taz could do that underwater.

Right near the end, it looks like a large black fish gets pulled in.

I managed to track down the full 21 minute video

It shows towards the end exactly what is happening.

The water and debris flows to the other side of the road
