There have been various meetings between staff members, though I've unfortunately been unable to make one of them. I remain hopeful...

Most likely to swing from a chandelier...? Probably all of us...though we'd take turns, I'm sure. Most of us have a bit of a wild side...

If I had to name just one, though? Sorry, it's AboveTopSecret.

Wooo-Hoooo........Yeah, I guess it would be tough to get you all together, being such a spread out group....but bet it would be one heck of a party! Taco's, Cake, Chandelier Rides.......and I've seen the Mod's warehouse full of Beer...

Ok, one more question, do you guys get Holiday cards from the "Big Dogs" what are they like if you do? Do they contain a nice gift card.....hint, hint.......if they don't......now remember that Mods next time I say something stupid...I had your back.....

We had a few or four get togethers @ our place in PA, prior to relocating to TX. I think the most ever was like 16, and that included a few spouses and kids as well.

always a good time had by all. we'd make a sort of long weekend out of it. Usually a Thursday thru Monday type dealio... with whomever could make it arriving as they did. Even had some of our northern friends make it down for a weekend of grillin and chillin.

Thurs/Fri just kickin back BBQing. Sat Night we did the ATS Live show, and Sunday we'd line up some sort of band, followed by fireworks and a bonfire. Late night karaoke and occasionally even skeet shooting, among other things

Good friends, Good food, Good conversation.... AND we did an ATS Live show or so on one of the nights.

This is from one of the earlier times. [like 3 years ago]

has there been a gathering or few? Yes. There wasn't a chandelier involved, but there was something with a mic stand and a performance piece of karaoke...I of course know nothing about this story.

not able to for us. the 'crypto summits' were always the first weekend in august, and it's just not looking possible this year.

went from 12+ acres in PA to probably a third here in san antonio.

I wish.

I thought this was a great thread and really enjoyed reading your posts.

It made me realise just how much I've judged certain members because of their avatars (which is silly I know) or because of their posts. It's shattered some of my prejudices and instead shown the human element which is at the heart of this site.

That was great , Thank-You ! I laughed so hard when the singer did the whole Jim Morrison thing....really funny...especially from a party of ATS staff...seems the band didn't read the T&C's......

nah. they did it 'pro-bono', per se... in lieu of angus beef boneless prime rib steak and potato dinner(s) for them and their significant others.

couldn't really hold them to the T&C here at a private gig.

There is an ATS Live show where I anchored the proceedings in the studio and the rest of the crew were at the Crypto-Pond gathering. At the end of the show the gathering was attacked by an unknown entity... the results made for great radio.....

I'm trying to figure out which show it is, when I find it I'll let you know.

I just finished reading the thread and I have to say what a great idea this is. Because of my limited scope of topics and my (generally) good behavior, I've only had the chance to interact with a few of the ATS mods.

So... thanks to everyone for sharing your personal stories.
