Nice, I like this I'd like to see you do some closeups of a human face. Not sure why but I would just love to see you do a series of different faces... I like how you give such respect or reverence to the art in your words with such phrases as "unchosen by me".

Nice painting. However, I don't get why the ox on the left has a unicorn horn. ?? Is there some message or symbolism I don't get, or am I seeing it wrong?

It is a piece of wood which keeps the oxes separated and is attached to the cart.

I will do so only for this it would be needed a bigger canvas.

I love happy paintings and smiles,when peace of the mind is present.

The best compliment I can give you is that I would hang this on a wall by itself. Nothing else to distract the eye and I would find peace in viewing it every day.

Actually there is quite a market for primitive or folk art. Some people call it naive art. One of the most famous primitive artist was Grandma Moses. Her painting "Sugaring Off" sold at auction in 2006 for 1.2 million dollars.

OP-keep it up, it's worth the effort. Art is something the world will always need. s&f from me.

There is something in the painting people are respondibg to. It is charming folk art, I agree with Tanda. I must offer, though, that the proportion of figures are off in comparison to the oxen, the cart, & their respective positions in fore, mid, or background.

The asymmetry can give the beauty of colors.
