Abu Qatada has been deported to Jordan?

Hello all,

I was doing some research on
Prime Minister David Cameron's "Golden Thread"[ [color=gold] 1 ]
when I came across this video.




His language is pretty strong,
saying "this man has no right to
be in our country" and things
like that.

Jordan is reporting that: Radical cleric Abu Qatada is being held in a high security jail near the Jordanian capital Amman.

It is also said that he will be allowed to preach while incarcerated.


So putting all this together,
I Just have to ask.
Isn't he backed by al-Qaeda,
and isn't he closer to Syria now?
Much closer.
