Wonderous Joy

Blazing suns warmth set in the west

Cool droplets of rain kiss my face

Porcelain hands reach up oh so high

Take a deep breath as I turn to grey sky

Magnificent rainbow placed gently out east

Filled with a bliss, tender heart skips a beat

Sharing this moment with my precious boy

Tiny tears brim over...what a wonderous joy

This event took place on Thursday the 17th of June 2013.
It was really wonderful and filled me with happiness. This poem flowed from that joy I experienced.

Hey my sweet friend I hope you are well.
The rain feels so good to me now...everytime it has rained since then, I go stand in it. It makes me feel one with nature and I truly enjoy it

Thanks Doc. Rain is very refreshing and I just really love it now. I sure wish it would rain today.
I would take a towel outside and spread it out and just lay down and let the rain fall on me.

Nice Job Nat! Thanks for reminding me how important rain has been to me over the years. When I was young I would sometimes sneak away from the house and make my way through the forest to a small grassy glade where I was hidden from view. I would take off my clothes and dance in the rain. It was absolutely intoxicating. I felt so close to the earth and yet connected to the sky. My dance was totally uninhibited, I danced to the rhythm of my heart. Afterwords, I would feel so clean and refreshed. It was a secret I held until now and I share it with you and my other friends because I know you understand.
