I don't want to put our private details out there but it was definitely, without a doubt, Mike in the car that night. Mike was not cremated against family wishes or without consent. From what I recall Sgt Biggs was not a particularly close friend nor confidant of Mike's. He was a friend and a supportive one, which of course was appreciated, but no one that anyone in the family would tell or has told anything to. It's been bothersome to see all of this but we've all somewhat accepted the "whatever, let people say what they want" mentality. I just wanted to tell people the truth about someone I loved, from my perspective.

"OMG! THE BODY WAS CREMATED!"
Yah, cuz the guys body was in a TINY METAL INFERNO OF DOOM!
Honestly, what did you all expect? For him to be miraculously fireproof?

That is a photo of a crash dummy. I'm not calling YOU a dummy, I mean that is a doll. A crash doll. That is a photo from a simulation.
Just thought you should know.
Oh, and BTW, his friend already came out and said on twitter that there are false rumors going around regarding the body.

They can't sue anyone if his will requested he be cremated. His wife, his mom, god and the baby Jesus can't stop him from being cremated if his will requested it.

Considering you registered just to be a supporter of the harebrained theory put forward in this thread, I am going to say you are an account created by the op or another poster in this thread to try and give credence to a ridiculous claim. Those of us who have been here long enough know the tell tell signs of people desperate to give their ridiculous claim credence.

...I took classes years ago, rather I attended classes that a family member was enrolled in and just listened.
...Granted I was a child, but some things stick.
...I could keep posting resources, but I've business to attend to.
...I'm sorry, I don't mean to be curt or rude, I'll be back.
...^That was typed with a crappy Arnold impersonation voice if you couldn't tell

I had a feeling there would be a response like this. #1 I'm a she and don't want to put my name and face all over things as I don't feel that is my place. It is a decision that will be made when we are ready to. Obviously the impact of Mike's death has been QUITE different on the family than on the interested public. While we clearly want to make sure there was no foul play (which we sadly don't think there was) and would of course want any due justice, that comes second to dealing with the grief and sorrow that comes with losing a young son, husband, and loving brother. That in and of itself is excruciatingly difficult. It should be easy to understand why no one in the immediate family wants to put them self out there right now to have fingers pointed and to argue when it's barely been long enough for us to talk about Mike without crying.
I shudder to think about it but I don't know if that's Mike's head in the car, in the photos. How would I? None of us were at the site of the accident, poking thru the remains. There are significant investigations taking place right now into what happened and whatever comes up will undoubtedly be made public when we have answers. I'm sorry we don't have them right now.
We very much appreciate the support that's poured in from the global community. I, of course, understand people's doubts about the validity of anyone involved in this. There's a lot we don't know. But we do know details about Mike and his life that are private -- he deserves for people to respect that. I'm sorry but I don't want to engage in a Q&A about the details as there's a lot I can't answer, but hopefully we'll be able to soon. Thank you for understanding.
