Whoever thought by 2013, the Russian leader talks like a real world leader and takes his job more professionally than his american counter part?

There are several instances where Putin's words make more sense than our own politician's - be it in the case of Snowden or Syria

Also, though there is obviously a propaganda involved by RT, RT covers more thought provoking stories than US media.

Our politicians are sold out, so is our media.

How do you get a population to seek and connect with the very things that a prior generation would have been adamantly against? You indoctrinate the children into group think - communism than becomes an attractive ideal. You indoctrinate children by withholding the fact that it has killed tens and tens of millions of individuals who will not how to the state. You indoctrinate children to honestly believe that the state of Russia is better than your own. Those who run politics merely manage both sides - they manage the public perception and reaction. The fact that so many are complimenting Putin as some sort of benevolent leader are in for a very rude shock when the same forces who caused the revolution there are doing the very same thing here. The red beast is brutal, it shows no mercy and it destroys and kills all who will not worship it.

America wouldn't be in this mess if people where outraged at the scandal surrounding Ron Paul's Quasi-Exile.

Sure he might be in the country but he has certainly been Silenced by the establishment.

By all accounts he should be The President of America right now don't be fooled by the jargon his victory was stolen from him.

At Least Putin stands by his principles.
The U.S. (my country) congress would ban lawsuits against this pos company.
They are truly a miserable corporation - attacking the human being from the inside out.

what say you U.S. CONgress - got the brass to stand against these producers of rotting flesh?
no? - hang your head (again).

Well, I have a couple of Russian friends and according to him the money is controlled by the government not enterprise. I think that has a lot to do with it. It's a very good thing someone is standing up to those Corps.

Food may be used to chemically condition people, but I am not against GMO. However in practice I think that we may not have enough knowledge in biology/chemistry to genetically modify/engineer food safely.

So even though your saying that food can chemically condition people and we do not hold enough knowledge to produce GMO safely that we should still be messing with it?

Yes, food does chemically condition people, as does water. Just look up what Fluoride REALLY does to people, not what the government tells us it does, for a really nasty look into chemically conditioning us.

I may also agree with your notion of it being done safely, but not until a company with humanity and our survival as it's FIRST and OVERALL priority comes along to do so; not those that answer to investors and are only concerned about control and the bottom line always being in green.

That's why I think that education, medicine, vaccines, gmo's should be socialized.
With the incentive of money, profit is always the main goal not healthy and smart people.

The idea of gmo's can surely be used positively if it was done for a higher purpose than what the likes of Mosanto is doing now...

I know, I know most will say it's playing God...well, god made us hands to move mountains and build houses, so I don't really see much difference in using smaller building blocks to build whatever we can think of. It's strongly doubt genetics are a universal security hole that God forgot about...

I believe we will achieve the first big step towards evolution when no one on earth dies from malnutrition, have access to free education and medicine based on optimizing their nations health.

Which is nothing we have achieved...

Good. This is classic espionage and state craft, maintaining the power structure against destabilization. Good to see he is able to put such training to benefit the people as well.

There is evidence that mRNA from plants alters the expression of DNA in humans.

This directly means that GMOs can alter gene expression in ways which were not intended.

Do not be prideful, humans are capable of great things, but evolution is a slow process.

Where are the minutes your source speaks of?

Did you fact check the story before posting this?

Or did you not bother my friend? Because it confirms your bias?

It would appear the latter is true upon reading the replies.

Many are happy to believe a lie, if they believe it a truth.

Not to glorify Putin, but he seems to have a lot more backbone than Obama. He seems to value the well being of his people more, too, but that's debatable.

He seems to value the well being of his people plenty. The problem is exactly who are "his people".

Definitely not Russians as a whole.

Russia is one of the worlds leading oppressive regimes, they steal from businesses, and then kill anybody who stands up to them. They are institutionaly homophobic, and treat the mojaority of their people like poop.

This one issue does not make putin a hero, or anywhere near a decent human being.

You got that right.

The government places some restrictions on freedom of movement and residence. Adults must carry internal passports while traveling and to obtain many government services. Some regional authorities impose registration rules that limit the right of citizens to choose their place of residence. In the majority of cases, the targets are ethnic minorities and migrants from the Caucasus and Central Asia.

In December 2012, Putin signed a ban on the adoption of Russian children by families in the United States. The measure was seen as retaliation for a new U.S. law, named for Sergei Magnitsky, that imposes asset freezes and travel restrictions on Russian officials found to have committed human rights abuses.

State takeovers of key industries and large tax penalties imposed on select companies have illustrated the precarious nature of property rights in the country, especially when political interests are involved.

Women have particular difficulty achieving political power. They hold 13 percent of the Duma’s seats (down from 14 percent in the previous term) and less than 5 percent of the seats in the Federation Council. Only three of 26 cabinet members are women. Domestic violence against women continues to be a serious problem, and police are often reluctant to intervene in what they regard as internal family matters. Economic hardships contribute to widespread trafficking of women abroad for prostitution.
