but thank god his bad judgement only resulted in the death of a black teenager.
Is race the only thing that matters to you? Would you be equally as outraged if Martin was white? I highly doubt it! Bad judgement does not equal manslaughter. There are other facts that had to be considered, and at the end of the day Zimmerman was found not guilty based on those facts.
The prosecution chose all women because they would be "emotionally charged" and they were sure it would lead to a conviction. Even after all the evidence rigging by omission, and seeking an "emotionally charged" jury it all still blew up in their face.
Would Zimmerman have been equally as outraged if Martin was white? I highly doubt it.
if GZ would have seen anybody, black, white, pink, or polka dotted, at night in the cold rain wearing a hoodie, wandering around looking at houses,( i mean come on even chickens got enough sense to get out of the rain) that took notice of him and started to leave the area at that moment, he would have called 911 and done the same thing. a dark rainy cold night is perfect cover for those who are up to no good.
also it is a known fact, that there had been a string of burglarizes in the neighborhood. and the description given of the suspects, were black teens, so who wouldn't on a cold, dark, rainy night, knowing what has been happening, not be suspicious. GM wasn't outraged, he was not ranting and raving or carrying on.

Nah, he wasn't outraged that there was a black kid wandering the streets during a time when you say crimes were happening and the cops told him not to do anything about it.
You're totally right. I mean, if he were outraged, someone might have been killed, right?

And that is why you should never assault somebody who has a gun. It could end very badly as it did for Martin in this instance. Not sure why this lady was dense. She went over the evidence put forth by the prosecutor and came to the conclusion obviously that Martin was in fact the assailant and Zimmerman was in fact defending himself.

What? No. Not even close.
Zimmerman was in his car, doing his neighborhood watch patrol when he saw Martin. I don't remember anymore what Martin was doing, but Zimmerman reported a suspicious person in a hoodie to the police. The police then told him NOT to confront the person and to stay in his vehicle.
Zimmerman ignored this and confronted Martin. Tempers escalated, a fight started, and Martin ended up shot dead.
As I said earlier, had Zimmerman stayed in his car as instructed, two lives would not have been changed forever.edit on 16-7-2013 by usernameconspiracy because: (no reason given)

Yeah, That's basically my point - I was being sarcastic.
IMO had Zimmerman not confronted Taylor, as advised by the police not to do, both would be walking the street free today.
Whether Tayor was intent on committing a crime later is a moot point.
In the UK Zimmerman would, I think, been found guilty of manslaughter, if not murder. He unnecessarily precipitated the confrontation and therefore loses the argument of self defence..
If he were white (and the jury were the same women), I believe whole heartedly that Zimmerman would have been convicted for manslaughter.

last reply to you,
i'm not the one who said it.
it is a fact it was a dark cold rainy night, it was testified to by many witnesses on both the prosecution and the defense, and if you doubt them, go back and check the weather for that night.
it is a fact, it was testified to by the prosecution's witness, the 911 dispatcher, sean noffke that they can not order anybody to do any thing, they can only suggest that people do this or that. because if something goes wrong, the city can be held liable.
all this and more is available, on you tube and many other sites,.

i wonder when the rest are gonna come out if at all.

The whole point in many state CCW laws is to put the fear of getting shot in criminals mind.
Texas and Florida are a couple of those states.
Racism plays into this case in that black criminals have a greater fear of getting shot.
If they were not criminals they would not need to fear.
Blacks have a completely different mind set
Just watch the show Hardcore Pawn on Reality-TV
Only blacks try to DEMAND that the pawnshop buy or take in pawn items for the price the they want.
Pawn shops as with any business have the right to refuse any business.
This mind set is not racist its just that these people are morons
so you have come to the conclusion that black people are morons from a reality show? so what should i think of white people from honey boo boo or duck dynasty, do you realize how ignorant your post was? i feel you made a very uneducated statement and i am trying my hardest not to start name calling but that statement you made has to be one of the most uneducated statements i have ever read and you got 3 stars for it.

If anything, Zimmerman was guilty of not using "good judgment," the juror said.
Then that's manslaughter..but thank god his bad judgement only resulted in the death of a black teenager.
Not exactly.
Florida Manslaughter Laws
If you are saying Zimmerman is guilty of manslaughter ... then so is Martin.
Both of them made the bad decision not to walk away. BOTH.
