Lights in the sky

This was posted by a friend of mine all I done was reupload it on a youtube page.



I know it could be anything but I thought it was interesting and someone could maybe explain it.
There were numerous people in the area that saw them.

Very difficult to tell. Could be absolutely anything.

Yeah, thought so, maybe a pointless exercise after all. Best video we got of it too. I was looking on youtube to see if anyone further north maybe saw them but nothing.

Thank you for sharing but I believe those just to be plain old human created craft, sorry.

My guess is the angle of which the craft is viewed. They appear to be hovering when the may be heading straight on or away from your point of view.

Just a guess.

Also what is that noise at 00:57 lol. That was an odd.

You could be right, they were there for quite a long time and not something I've ever seen in this area.
Though the quality is so bad I can't even back my claims up.
I'm kinda defeated before I even start. Oh well.

As for the noise, you try keeping three people quiet so they don't sound like idiots. There is always one

too low man.

As you wrote in the description on youtube, "It does look low but it is still very much in the sky", I would agree with the it looks low part.

What convinces you it's in the sky? All I can say from the video is that is not entirely clear to me, because it's so low.

It does look low and probably on the ground , I suspect it may be as simple as people out lamping for rabbits .

Without a better idea of the location and topography its impossible to tell .

i may be wrong but isn't the Cumbria area quite well known for UFO sightings ?

It seems there was a famous sighting (with a photo) back in the 50s (not sure),
with many UFO lights in the sky reports over the years.
Like I said, I could be wrong

Not that I'm aware of, I guess in the lakes there is little light obstruction from towns and Cities etc, So that said I wouldn't be surprised at being astronomers here, but this was NW England, looking towards Irish sea in the direction of Scotland, with Ireland to the west.

Now that you have said I'm going to look in to more sightings in the area over the years

What convinces me its in the sky? I was there!
We are on higher ground to the sea, looking down over the sea. what you can see is the horizon in the distance.

Can you get your friend to film the same area in daylight ?
