DOJ CRS mission statement:

Seems to me like these are the kind of events that the CRS was created for,
but as far as organizing 'race riots', that is a bit of a stretch.
This thread seems to be baiting more than the US government is doing in regards to the trial.

Perhaps they are just being proactive. You know, working to maintain order in something that they feel is probably going to be inevitable.

Strange to think that this program could or maybe has been rolled out across America. Maybe organize some fans for an event in Boston.....throw in some paid actors....

Ahhh, thank you for being the voice of reason.

It's their job. If they didn't prepare for what is going to happen (either way, one will be violence due to an acquittal, the other violence for celebration of a conviction...it's happened before) then the same people would be calling for an explanation as too why more help wasn't offered. Anymore the Government is damned if you do and damned if you don't.

As to the source? I routinely do not trust a "news" site if there is a donation button, which there is. And the only time in the article it mentions that the government is actually organizing riots is the editorial last paragraph. They put that spin on it, but the article itself does not.
