Well firstly, most sane people here at ATS don't take the "doom porn" too seriously, and there are literally hundreds of threads of doom where the "predicted" dates have come and gone without event.
So what do the doom threaders do...........they simply start a new thread with another date!

I am glad you are not one of them.

As for the religious nonsense about Jesus returning and talk of "rapture" and the like.......well that's organized insanity if you ask me.

As for your experiences..........well the mind is a strange thing, but then again even scientists concede that the human brain is the most complex thing that we know of in the Universe, and despite the science of neurology we are still pretty much in the dark about the brain and the mind within it.

Your experiences may just be personal to you, even if your brain interprets it to have a universal meaning.
Equally the meaning and date of 2015 may be nothing more than jumbled up signals your brain is giving perhaps having digested other messages perhaps subliminally about "end of the world"..........hell even lurking around ATS for too long will probably equip your subconscious brain with plenty of nonsense.

Could you be hearing voices from an external source.......i.e it's possible........I certainly personally know people who seem sane enough, hearing voices of their father advising them about certain decisions to take about every day events in their lives (even though the dad had been long dead).
Is it worth trying to decipher the meaning of your "vision/dream".........probably not, as I am sure if it really was important then the voices you hear would make it clear to you what they actually mean rather than leave you asking the question "What does it mean".

Anyway..........that's my two pence worth.

I actually made an account because of this thread.
I had seen it the other day and spent the next few days contemplating whether or not to respond... so i made a new account and here it goes...
Last year, 2012- late August, if I remember correctly, it was the 28th (creepy how today is the 28th that I'm typing this)
I woke up to a voice that said, "2 years to go..." It freaked me out because it sounded like my mother's voice and I actually said, "Mom?" in reply. My Mom lives on the other side of the country. (USA)
It also sounded very similar to a female friend that had passed away a few months prior which only made it more freaky.
I'm not sure if it was just random or has more meaning but August is rolling around again and i'm wondering if I'm gonna get another message...
I hope it won't be, "1 more year..."
Take it for what it's worth, but it was loud enough to wake me up and think there was someone in my bedroom.
