Hello :)

I've been lurking here for quite a long time, and finally decided to join. I've found the breaking alternative news and UFO/aliens sections the most interesting.

I am a young scientist, not doing anything terribly interesting in my career (just happy to have a job at all), and my hobbies are lucid dreaming and astral projection. I have had a lot of strange experiences in both waking and altered states, and that is why I am here, mainly -- to meet others who have had possibly similar experiences and share. I hope I can learn a lot from everyone here and make some new friends.

I hope you find some interesting answers here. I am pretty curious about dreams as well, especially lucid ones..

If I hear my name or see something very vivid I try to remember to look at my hands and clap loudly in the dream, the few times I've remembered to do this I've had some wild experiences.
