it's kinda weird, I literally just watched this movie yesterday. Synchronicity for the win, I love when the universe speaks to me. Now, what is it that I will learn from this.

You're correct. Tools evolving from weapons is an important point that certainly means I should tweak my theory a bit if I'm going to use the scene from 2001 and make a connection to the basic political philosophy that I had in mind. Thank you for your input.

I understand your premise and Gandhi already gave society under a governing rule the solution.

Non compliance

A non violent revolution.

The multitudes that are us, the people are the largest proponent or cog of the machine that makes the world go round, if we the people stop complying then the machine slowly breaks down.

But not all can and some need to continue as not all in the world is lost, there much greatness that help society move forward.

Doctors need to keep treating, firemen need to keep extinguishing and so on.

But politicians can stop their charades, bankers can stop their manipulations.

but the two examples of what can stop are the ones who will fight to make sure they never have to stop as they loose the most.
