This is the biggest single bee die off recorded in the Western USA. It is believed to have been caused by the incorrect use of certain pesticide. The death is equivalent to about 150 bumblebee colonies.

While they are not as efficient pollinators as the European honey bee, this is shocking. Pesticides are a major danger to our ecology.

God help us all if we accidentally wipe the bees out all together.

When are we all gonna unite and take to the streets in order to get Monsanto et al banned, like Europeans did?

How much longer can we take? And if we can take more, how much more can the nature around us take? It's despicable such companies are allowed to poison us openly... but I guess when you appoint a former Monsanto employee as a food czar, bad things are gonna happen.
