After five years of a rolling disclosure programme, the contents of Britain's "UFO files" are no longer a secret.

In total 209 files and approximately 52,000 pages of information on unidentified things in the sky, collected by the Ministry of Defence, have been made available to the public by the National Archives. But what have we learned from the mountain of paperwork that has slowly emerged into the public domain since the project began in May 2008?

Have not really had a time to look through this lot yet. But I thought I would share the archive database for those interested. One UFO policy file dating from 1997 – which contained x top secret documents – has been downloaded more than 250,000 times



Apparently most UFOs are IFOs. Identified flying Objects. i have personally seen a UFO at close range. A yellow ball f light giving off a blue hue..

I do tend to think that after 60 years of so they would tend to have more conclusive evidence.

I really doubt that If TPTB know for sure we are being visited that the files saying so will never be released despite them saying that they all are.
I too have seen a UFO but I do not know it was intelligent life or just something weird we do not know about in nature.

What we see happening now folks is gradual introduction of the Alien phenomena - it will be disclosed to our grandchildren - have you not wondered why Aliens seem to be in every movie and advert?

Plus we live in an age where resources for gathering evidence is/will be abundant.

No it isn't, none of these cases were Top Secret, the question should be asked, when will the other cases be released? The ones with higher classifications that no doubt exist.

Yea, this is old news, I downloaded most of these files a couple of years ago in the Uk Gov website they released back then. I have'nt fully check all the info, but files I picked at random were very interesting indeed.
Most were eyewitness reports and drawings, its the drawings that were very cool, some bizarre stuff their I admit.
Nothing to see here people, move along!!
