10 Threats to the World’s Stunning Coral Reefs

Coral reefs: stunning, diverse, found worldwide, and incredibly fragile, despite the fact that they look like they’re made from stone. These delicate, beautiful structures are microcosms, communities filled with organisms living in a mutually beneficial world that provides food, shelter and protection from harsh weather.

Sadly, 25% of coral reefs are already hopelessly damaged, according to the World Wildlife Fund, and many others face serious threats. Combating damage to coral reefs requires understanding the multifaceted nature of the threats against their survival, and determining the best way to address these environmental issues before it’s too late.

The loss of coral reefs would be tragic not just because we’d miss something beautiful in the world, but because they also play an important environmental role.

It's such a shame that these parts of the ocean aren't under some kind of protection.
I can't even imagine the impact it would have environmentally if they Coral was to start disappearing.

When Coral reef was dying in the Caribbean, they didn't get it. Only after finding what caused children to have respiratory problems, they could link it to the Sahara.

The sand got lifted with the strong winds high enough to end up infecting the children and the coral.
We are not always the problem.

[color=gold]Unfortunately some consciousness prefer to IGNORE the realities associated to sea life having PEACEFUL surroundings effecting their social vibrations, which in turn effects the EA*RTH VIBRATIONS positive or negative. Unbalance due to pollutions kills sea life lowers sea frequency balance needed... But what kind [color=gold] of balance? Is it raising the SOUL/internal ENERGY/SPIRITS Conscious FREQENCY of a species or species... So they who are dominate species then begins to provide better CARE for these areas of distress in NATURE causing LOW vibrations in the SEA life frequencies... from pollutions.
OR IS A COSMIC RESPONSE BETTER APPROACH?
