"NSA Whistleblower; A Ron Paul Supporter?"

I was taking my grandparents to their weekly doctors appointment when something caught my eye on the little News screen they have in the hallway which publishes little news tidbits essentially Twitter style.

It said exactly what's in the title.

Does anyone else see something completely wrong with that?

First of all, i'm in a different country right near the border with Washington State.
It's not abnormal to get your news.

For me though, this really stood out and provided the mindset of these people.

What would being a Ron Paul supporter have to do with him whistle-blowing unless they are trying to paint the picture that Ron Paul's supporters are treasonous to their country?

There a whole bunch of people painting him this or that right now. It is comical to see all the threads. I think yours is the first to take note of this.
