Just thought of this ... civil trials. If the family doesn't get a conviction on Murder 2 ... I'm pretty sure they can take Zimmerman to a civil case and sue. That's what happened with the Goldmans in the OJ situation. Don't know if Florida has the same laws ... but this comes to mind.

In Florida if you are acquitted in a trial you get immunity from a civil law suit.

I think there could be no greater evidence of how poorly the public school systems are in this country, the key Witness in the Zimmerman trial is one who cannot read or understand questions, or have a command of the English language. But that does not matter does it? I mean she only lived in the US all of her life. I mean, if you were non black seeking admission to a government position or University, this person would knock you out of the running. That is why our government and our professions are falling apart, we have staffed positions or admission not based on merit, experience, or achievement but on the color of ones skin. This whole trial is tragic, in that is a poster boy of how far our educational systems fallen in this country. Adios Amigo. John

She never said Trayvon confronted Zpunk. That was made clear yesterday. Zimmerman is a liar. That came out two days ago when he talked about spreading Trayvon's arms out and the cop testified that Trayvon's arms were underneath him. He is a big fat punky liar.

The girl obviously has a learning disability. What is about that that people can't see. She could be dyslexic or who knows. I bet you a buck she has been in special ed throughout her life.

Jeantel is back on. The Prosecution is now leading her .... She is suddenly able to speak clearly and loudly. Her earlier submissive tone is gone. She's playing games. The prosecution tried to make it sound like english is her second language behind spanish and creole .... English is her second language behind BAD ENGLISH!!

She's 19 and a senior in high school. She's now stating that English is her first language and it's spoken at home which blows the prosecutions attempt to make it look like english was her second or third language. It looks like she speaks eubonics and not proper English. Shes saying that people 'in her culture' refer to white people as crackers and black people as 'the n word' ...

She's done.
She was shredded.

The fact is Zimmerman had multiple injuries and Martin had one.
It was self-defense, unless you believe the cops, medics, coroner, medical examiner etc... are all lairs and/or ignorant, incompetent, fools.

Zimmerman was only arrested when he agreed to be arrested, after talking to the prosecution (bad idea) and after the black panther party put a hit on him. Zimmerman is on "trial by media" it is a political lynching at this point.

If you would open your mind a little and get out from behind your bias, you may learn something. Fl Statute 776.032 gives immunity from prosecution and civil liability. Why didn't the Zimmerman case go before a grand jury? Because the state knew he wouldn't be charged.

By the way your hero is a registered democrat. Check the voting records. Does that make him a liberal?? Does that somehow reduce his actions that he has taken by his own words??

You admittedly only watched the end of the testimony yesterday. When she was on direct, she was told repeatedly to speak up and to repeat what she said. She clearly doesn't like "Mr. Don" and she made that clear when she talked about how he made her wait in his office for hours and then sending her away without finishing her deposition. She towards the end of all of her questioning she started to get frustrated with the defense lawyer. Had you watched all of her testimony you would have ascertained that. I provided the link for you to watch all of the video. You chose not to watch and are continuing today with a opinion not based upon her demeanor for the entire day. Witnesses do get tired and pushed and frustrated.

Good, that is going to pi@@ the jury off. She clearly is uneducated, does not have command of the English language and has some type of learning disability. Remember there are 6 woman jurors, most of which I would imagine are mothers. They are not going to take too kindly to insulting this young woman. It is gonna go over just as well as his knock knock joke.

Apparently also in Florida they don't teach cursive writing. I'm reading the WFTV live blog as I'm watching the trial. People are writing in that their kids aren't taught cursive in Florida and that the last witness didn't learn it because the school didn't teach it .. not because she was special ed or anything like that ...
