Zimmerman violated his own neighborhood watch rules.

Zimmerman ignored instructions from 9/11 dispatcher to "not follow" and "stay in the vehicle".

You really have not followed the witness testimony during the trial, this is obvious. You are relying on snippets of misrepresented facts presented by biased news agencies attempting to stir up interest and conflict.

The 911 dispatcher testified during the trial...I will leave it up to you to discover what the testimony was. It was not quite as you represent...as has been represented by the media.

Yes, by all means let's convict him for not following the NW rules!! These rules supersede the constitution, as we all know.

If TM had not decided to confront the "crazy a$$ cracker" (testimony from the prosecutions witness) and instead had just gone home he would still be alive, no?

If TM had not been on top of GZ beating him, he would still be alive, no?

If TM had not committed a felony that night, he would still be alive, no?

Perhaps the gun was not pulled on him at the time; but maybe Zimmerman was reaching for the gun; and Trayvon tried to stop him and defend himself; because he may have been afraid if he ran a shot would have hit him.

Of course we all know he was shot anyway. Zimmerman did commit murder; and I really don't think it was necessary; he should have minded his own business and not followed Trayvon in the first place.

The jury is made up of 6 women and I know 5 of them are mothers; I really think Zimmerman is going to do time.

If you go home and watch 95% of the trial on youtube you must be putting in 16-18 hour days. With your job and youtube commitments. No?

My guess is you've watched CNN and that's about it. You don't seem to know anything about this trial except what their talking heads have told you.

But back to the subject at hand-

Obviously, we will agree to disagree.

Black, white, brown, or whatever, Zimmerman simply went to far IMHO.

Agreed, although to be fair, you have to admit GZ's skin color is white, or at least mostly white.

Still, there is absolutely no reason on Earth to make this a race issue other than to play the race card and garner support from "social justice warriors".

I don't know how many times I've heard people talk about "them" when referring to African Americans, or people claiming Trayvon was a thug so deserved to be killed, or countless other subtle racist comments.

It's almost with glee that some of these people are talking about how happy they will be if Zimmerman gets away with killing this "thug".

I agree. I myself wouldn't be white to people who are very strict in the whole racial theme. But still, even if GZ is a 100% white person with heritage that goes all the way back to the first white man, there is no reason at all to make this a racial issue.

umm...it's not 1st degree murder. It's 2nd degree murder. As I stated earlier it if obvious you have not followed the trial and seem rather clueless regarding the evidence presented and even the charges involved.

Let me give you a bit of a synopsis:

The prosecution has failed utterly and completely to even present a scenario whereby GZ is guilty of 2nd degree murder.
Even more embarrasingly, many of their witnesses did more harm to the prosecution's case than good. Many? Did I say many? Perhaps most would be more accurate.

In order to secure a verdict of guilty for manslaughter they have to prove that beyond reasonable doubt. We will find out what the jury feels about that, but my opinion is that they failed utterly there.

During Closing statements, the defense rehashed testimony and evidence presented to the court.

During closing statements the prosecution appealed to emotion.

What does that tell you?
