Those injuries on the back of his head... when do you estimate they were caused? Seconds before the gunshot, perhaps? As much as 10 seconds before, maybe? How much blood do you think would have started to flow by the time George finally got control of his gun, fired the fatal shot, and watched as Trayvon sat back on his haunches in some manner, said "You got me!" then fell off to the side? Would that blood have flowed up towards his chin while he was lying on his back? If he'd been rolling his head from side to side, to avoid Trayvon's blows, shouldn't that blood flow have been smudged and haphazard, rather than moving smoothly in one direction? Think about it. Gravity never lies.

ok, here is something you apparently missed.
iirc the one picture at the scene was taken by a witness after the shooting and while GZ was squatting down. i seem to remember him saying that and that they showed that picture and he said it was one that he had taken.
it was the first guy out the asian looking witness that took that picture. after the fight and while he was sqatting and looking down.

and as far as the amount of blood, while GZ was on his back moving his head from side to side, trying to get from under TM it is entirely possible that some if not most would have been rub off by the wet grass.

Z said in a recorded interview that he "got from un...well, not from under him" (then an explanation) and when he moved his shirt came up. When this happened, T saw the gun and took one of his hands off his face (I think his said his mouth, he said they were both on his face, one hand on his mouth and the other over his nose) and ran his hand down his chest (from Z's hand motion it was down the center of his chest). Then Z said he got his own weapon.

TV News ... some of the talking heads are still making wild speculations in favor of the prosecution. It reminds me of the line from the Harry Potter movie ... it looks silly .. like they are trying to hold onto smoke (a non solid that isn't really there) ... impossible. At least we haven't had to listen to race baiters like Jackson or Sharpton. (or have I (thankfully) missed them?) Maybe they are saving it up for after the verdict.

Side note .. I've totally lost interest in this witness. And I agree with the previous poster .. the young prosecution guy is acting like a weenie ...

Wow...the Prosecution is ttrying to go somewhere with this "90 degree angle" thing, but he CAN"T.

He is sitting straight up on te mannequin, but trying to assert that Martin was 'getting off' of Zimmerman, that he would be at a 90 degree angle. WRONG. He is sitting at 180 degrees, and FOUGHT him at a 90 degree angle, exactly where the evidence places him.

Strike 1.

May I inquire why you posted the manslaughter law?

I agree with this witness..

the Prosecution is continuing to go down wild speculation paths. It is clear at this point that the prosecution is only arguing from 'what ifs' and 'could-haves', instead of what the evidence shows.

George is gonna walk.

People here were talking about Murder 2 and Manslaughter in Florida.
What is needed for each. I've posted the information showing both previously.
This was a new article I saw that spoke to Florida negligent manslaughter ....
People who still think it's 'manslaughter' can take a look and see if their
thoughts match up with the law or not.

The prosecution is trying to get the jury to feel like "if Trayvon was looking down the barrel of a gun he would yell for 'help'"...

actually, you would be quiet and stop beating the guy you are punching.

For those interested ....

Alan Dershowitz: I would find Zimmerman 'not guilty'

"I would say there's reasonable doubt. I would say nobody knows who started the initial fight," Dershowitz told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV. "Remember, it's monumentally irrelevant who's morally guilty here."

"Whether or not Zimmerman was a racist and racially profiled and shouldn’t have been doing it and didn’t listen to police, that's all irrelevant in Florida law," Dershowitz said. "The case begins when the first blow was struck, essentially. And we don’t know who struck the first blow. We don’t know if Trayvon Martin came out from behind of a dark area and jumped him and got him down.

"And as long as we don’t know that, [and] we don’t know whose voice it was who was yelling, 'Help me! Help me!' That's reasonable doubt."

That's pretty much what I came up with .... whoever threw the first punch is the perp.
And we have no idea who did that. And we never will know for sure who did that.
Therefore ... the verdict has to be 'not guilty'.

And if you did yell you would probably yell, "Help, he's got a gun", instead of just help. I know I would in that situation.

Ideally this is accurate, however I believe the truth here is that...

I was wondering about the manslaughter thing, because the language was for prosecutors. Thanks for explaining, though.

If George is found not guilty by reason of self defense, then nothing else can stick. That decision rules out any other charge by default.

The language of lesser included charges, if I am not mistaken, only possibly includes manslaughter by culpable negligence, and even that one is doubtful. I think the schedule for lesser included charges was posted, though.

Pre-trial I started out thinking 'negligent manslaughter'.
Now, after watching the trial, I have moved to 'not guilty'.
The state has SERIOUSLY FAILED to prove Manslaughter, let alone Murder 2.
