I think you underestimate their investment in the US. The people running the show are representing an enormous multitude of their own people and have a huge incentive to make the US more comfortable, enjoyable and productive.

Notice that this century has been one of the most comfortable in history despite the frequent infamous economic obstacles 80% of the country is usually employed, eating well and enjoying a better lifestyle than our counterparts 100 years ago.

Sure things could be better and corruption is rampant but keep your eye on the bright side. The people up top are looking out for their own people which means they are looking out for us by association. Getting frusterated by social injustices is one thing but labeling a massive group which is both an adversary and an ally as simply an enemy is a bit foolish.

Most of those collecting SS in section 8 housing are under 60 years in age. Social Security disability payments are at an historical high and have sky rocketed the last 8-10 years, with the highest increases during the last 4 years.

Disability requires a doctor to prove that you in fact have a disability. In truth, how many of these folks are on government disability because their employer didn't carry any insurance on them to begin with? You seem to imply that just because someone is on Social Security and under 65, that they are committing fraud and receiving benefits they are not entitled too, yet if that were the case, they would be sitting in prisons rather then section 8 housing, now wouldn't they?

I implied no such thing... I stated that the government is to blame. However, the shear number of baby-boomers is in fact going to crash the system. Simple mathematics.

After they are done there will be no more social security, so everyone that is young now and working will get nothing by the time they are ready to retire. Even more unfairly, many of the older baby boomers are collecting both pensions AND social security, because they retired before the companies started pulling all the pension funds.

To save many of you from having to watch the video, it is from those 'Storm Clouds Gathering" idiots.

For most here, that is enough information to know not to waste your time.

Yes, there are problems. No, these guys don't understand them fully, nor know how to discuss them responsibly.

I have experience with section 8 and the residents. You, sir, are talking out your a$$ without a clue. Many of the residents were unemployable due to many reasons, one being education, another being a total lack to drive to improve their abilities, skills or education. They were content to pay $25 for rent and utilities, collect food stamps and draw SS. At the end of the year they file income tax and get back a few thousand dollars on top of that. So, are they committing fraud when the govt is actively promoting this?

And you are going to collect more at an earlier age then I will, so I guess that I can complain about how you don't deserve it, and I'm working to support you, when you start collecting it. .

The difference being that I have been productive my whole adult life and HAVE contributed, versus those who have not contributed diddley and yet continue to stretch that hand out asking for more without making the least effort to become productive. Huge difference and if you cannot see that then you are lacking in certain faculties. I have no issues providing assistance for those who really need it, but those who are healthy and capable and choose not to be productive for whatever reason do NOT deserve it and, in fact, reduce (leech) the help that is due those who DO need it.

I implied no such thing... I stated that the government is to blame. However, the shear number of baby-boomers is in fact going to crash the system. Simple mathematics.

I will grant you this. This has been a known problem for some time. An illegal ponzi scheme is destined to eventually fail. I misinterpreted the direction you headed with that.

Even more unfairly, many of the older baby boomers are collecting both pensions AND social security, because they retired before the companies started pulling all the pension funds.

So you are saying that a life spent working hard and contributing to SS do not deserve or have not earned both?

Why is it that the productive people do not deserve this, and yet those who make no attempt at being productive deserve as much? Something very wrong with that reasoning.

Bottom line: The govt entered into a contract with it's citizens with regards to Social Security. If they do not fix the problem, they will have defaulted on that contract WITH THEIR OWN CITIZENS. The fact that they are trying to capitalize politically with handouts to the lazy leeches in this country is sickening beyond belief.

The real losers in this are the children being raised by the leeches. They are being taught all the wrong lessons in life, and we continue to promote this by providing incentives for them to procreate as often as possible. I heard on numerous occasions, from the residents themselves, the remark: "babies having babies". What chance to those babies have in life? Since the 60s when the govt declared war on poverty, there has been a culture promoted which increases poverty and ignorance.

So when you call a group of people names ("idiots") that's supposed to convince people not to watch the video?

How about explain to people why you believe this group shouldn't be trusted, use specific examples.

Short of that, I don't believe you. The video was a very accurate and concise summary of why we should be concerned about the U.S. Government's plan for the citizens in the future.

That is a very refreshing statement from a rare and very frank viewpoint. The soundtrack WAS too much in this vid, and (while it is incredibly odd that they are buying so many bullets (wtf?)) the assertion that dhs agents are being trained to kill civilians is pretty off base. They are being trained to kill zombies! Civilians would never run anywhere with a dead body and an active line of fire, only zombies or people with a death wish. But that doesn't make it any less bizarre, lol!!

Easy enough to get a doctor to put in a claim you are disabled....heck, I know one who got to sign off that she has a social phobia and finds it hard to work with people.......but doesn't stop her from sitting with her friends in the coffee shop, to go to clubs on the weekends.

As to the baby boomers, yes, they play their part in the collapse. Not their fault though, they paid into the scam for their entire lives and they expect something in return.

What is the endgame?

What is the purpose?
What are they so scared of?

bad video.

nothing new under the sun.

just the same old repeats of the same old crap.
conspiracy nuts have been saying this forever now, and yet nothing is happening.

its always "something big is coming"
"they are preparing"
"they are getting insane amounts of expensive ammo"

yadayadayada

its all for real reasons, and real threats.
there is no conspiracy.

Exactly.

And if the endgame is to enslave us and to kill 90% of population, why dont they just do it allready?!

What are they waiting for?? If its true, if its all true, then the more time they let us have in freedom - the more time we have to mobilise against it.

it doesnt make sense that they wouldnt just already have done it.

No, there is no endgame, since there is no conspiracy.
I was a conspiracy nut myself for almost 15 years now.
But since NOTHING absolutely NOTHING has happened that can be PROVEN a part of a large conspiracy - then I am not going to waste any more years of my life for this nonsens.
Im gonna start living my life instead.

Ive heard plenty of times that it's the Haves vs the Have Not's but I disagree, it's the Want's vs the Want Not's. We have reached the apex of any democracy where the voters have realized that they can vote in the representatives that will give them the most hand outs, and the government is more than happy to oblige the voters at the expense of liberty.

What you describe is exactly why Europe is falling apart. The austerity programs were intended to help relieve the debt of governments, such as Greece, Spain, etc.

But now that the freebies are no longer there...the populace starts to protest and riot.

Go figure.

the austerity programs in European countries take income away without replacing it with paid jobs...the wealthy protest all the time about their taxes being raised, but they do not riot because they still are able to live comfortably. when you lose your job, shelter, food,.... what are you expecting, a peaceful thank you from the populace?

I don't expect anything peaceful to come from a populace that has been raised on Government support, especially when that support is cut off. I don't really blame them either. It is what they know after all. It has to be very disturbing to find all of a sudden, that everything you knew is not what it really was and now is gone.

I am frankly amazed that the wealthy of Europe has not used these crises to further erode their Governments. Something along the lines of;

"If the Government didn't tax us so heavily, (of which you are no longer getting any benefits from) we could expand our business and start hiring again, providing jobs for the people."

But instead, it's just easier for them to leave the country. Very short sighted in my opinion.

The austerity is brought on by massive debt...sooner or later you have to pay the piper. What happens when you, personally, go so deep in debt that you cannot keep your head above water. You have to readjust your standard of living to fit your income. This is exactly what is happening after years of extravagant spending by European gov'ts.

This same austerity is coming to America very soon if our politicians do not get their heads out of their a$$es. You cannot, in a weak economy, increase taxes. The gov't's only logical move is to reduce spending.

The video is concise, does not dabble in conjecture, and works to comprehensively deliver the whole story. Let us hope that we have some extended time to warn our friends and families. Grab the boots of Hermes and the horn of Gabriel, haste and spread the word!

I'm sorry. I didnt mean to imply not to watch. And I wouldnt consider calling SCG "idiots" an insult, more of a description. They are "All hat and no cattle", "All sizzle, no steak"....one-more..."All video-production-values and no message".

There is lots for people to worry about in our country and so many hot-spots and crisis all over the world, no question. But these guys haven't contributed a damn thing. Think about it, what have you learned from them? What has ANYONE learned from them, Ever?

The people on this site know a hell of a lot more about what is going on than SCG.

All I was saying to people that are in the know that the video was another one from SCG, which - for many - is enough to already know what the video is about before they even click on it,

In my opinion, much of the genuine research and honest work that many members here put into what they present to all of us is diminished by the cheap-thrills sort of crap that SCG and others like them put out.

Now more than ever, ATS can perform a service to it's members and the world at large but much of the genuine message is drowned out by stuff like SCG, Alex Jones, Truthers and a lot of the other cheap conspiracy "junk" that passes for content more often these days.

ATS is a great place on the web, with many intelligent, connected people who have something substantial to contribute, but I also think it could use a good, high-volume-flush!

Don't let logic stand in the way of ideological nonsense.

If you want to take away 'entitlements' fine, but unless you are willing to discuss legitimate job creation those that preach "it's good" when people starve aren't really saying much,
