Tickled to Death

Growing up, my sister used to hold me down and tickle to the point that I was almost breathless and could only laugh silent laughs.

I wonder though--can tickling actually be a method of torture, and can a person actually be tickled to death?

To this day I am highly ticklish and wonder if this childhood tickling set me up to be ultra-ticklish.

I used to do that to my little brother..It got to the point that I could just make the tickling motions, and he would start squirming, didn't even have to touch him.
Of course, I didn't stop there, I'd hold him down, and tickle him until he cried..
I've never been ticklish, not at all...That was my advantage in the tickle fights.
