What Would Happen If The Population of Sub-Saharan Africa Was Drastically Reduced? - Hear Me Out!

First of all, do not take this thread the wrong way or be offended (I have other story-lines where America falls and China sinks into chaos and the Arab world goes completely bonkers). This is merely yet another one of my hypotheticals, related to my continuous writing of short stories.

The Scenario:

Through some unknown event, some 690 million Sub-Saharan Africans (including the extra-continental diaspora abroad and many Caribbeans) abruptly die over the course of a few weeks. At first, it is thought that a virus is spreading, but it is later discovered by scientists that unexplainable freak DNA malfunctions in those of direct and sole Sub-Saharan African descent have occurred. Those of non-Sub-Saharan African descent have been entirely unaffected, as well as others of Sub-Saharan African descent who have not been affected at all.

The population of Sub-Saharan Africa now stands at 220million (previously nearly 880million).

What happens now? How will the world react? What happens to the continent?

Well, looks like we'd have to find a different people to exploit and genocide to fund in pursuit of natural resources and microchips.

• This "hypothetical" scenario began when the ancient African institutes of learning were destroyed, and the people made barbaric through lack of education. The knowledge of the Nubians, Mali Empire, Timbuktu, and Egyptians was wiped out and suppressed.

• In our modern time, it has been discovered that many africans have been deliberately infected with chronic and fatal diseases. Most notably, The AIDS Scandal in Libya. Additionally, it has been discovered that many Africans were used a test subjects for a multitude of drugs and medicines. Medical experimentation in Africa.

• Additionally, internal war, civil unrest, and genocide has been supported and perpetuated with the help of corporations, clandestine groups, and alphabet organizations.

It is heart-breakingly obvious that some eugenicists have targeted the Africans for removal from the future gene-pool. How outrageous is this!!! We now know that Africans are the oldest humans, and are the only pure humans left. All non-Africans have interbred with Neanderthal. But clandestine eugenic programs seek to destroy the original man?

"What happens now? How will the world react? What happens to the continent?"

A continuation of what is already occurring in South Africa will escalate. Brits and other Europeans colonize the beach-front properties of the territories opened-up by the displaced Africans.

DNA malfunctions in those of direct and sole Sub-Saharan African descent have occurred. Those of non-Sub-Saharan African descent have been entirely unaffected, as well as others of Sub-Saharan African descent who have not been affected at all.

Sub-Saharan Africans are pure blooded Homo Sapien Sapien.

Non sub-Saharan humans are Homo Sapien Sapien + Homo Sapien Neanderthalensis.

If the scenario in the op were to occur, the Neanderthal genes found in non-Africans would probably play a key role in the immunity from this viral/genetic malfunction.
