You need to see this: Former Obama administration green jobs advisor Van Jones just came out swinging against Keystone XL. It's one of the strongest statements yet about what is at stake in this fight -- for the president, and for all of us.
Van doesn't just raise the stakes, he debunks the outright myths that are leading our nation down a road to disaster. But who he is matters just as much as what he says. Van is the first prominent former Obama official to take such a strong stand. A man who helped set environmental policy in the Obama White House is now making it clear that approving Keystone XL would be a horrific mistake. We should pay attention.
How else would you keep yourself warm? How else would you rather commute (third world country or first world country)? What type of vehicle are you driving ? (if any) or are you using public transportation? The computer equipment that you're using contains several contaminants and it has come to your convenience after several toxins were released into the atmoshphere during its manufacturing process in some other country overseas. Criticizing is easy. Please provide/suggest/recommend solutions.

I'm 100% against the Keystone extension...but how is it at all related to anything military?! It's a cheap stunt to leapfrog American markets...while using American soil to transship the oil to Gulf ports and export to offshore markets. I totally miss where anything military is getting the least benefit from it? Hell, the last I checked, our glorious President hasn't even replaced the supplies in the Strategic Oil Reserve that he looted to get himself better pump prices at a previous point in his admin.
Whatever Obama is? A friend or buddy to the U.S. Military is *NOT* one of them. Nothing I've seen him do since taking office has been geared toward benefit to them. It's plenty of 'More work to do with less to get it done with'...but if that's benefit, it's time to quit the Service.
Van Jones, communist and founder of STORM, whose philosophy says: “All of STORMS members developed a basic understanding of and commitment to Revolutionary Marxist Policies with a particular emphases on the historical experiences of 3rd world communist movements.”
Are these the people we want "advising" policy?
