Man Attempts to Stop Felon and Charged

Sorry the cops are right on this one. Mr. Kinsella acted inappropriately, clearly if you feel you have time to fire a "warning" shot clearly you do not feel your life is in jeopardy at least not enough jeopardy to justify firing. The fact the man attempting to break into his house is a felon is inconsequential. He couldn't have possibly known that and in this story it is used as an attempt to play on peoples sympathy. Given that and the police statement that Mr. Thompson was either running or walking away before Mr. Kinsella fired and it just further points out the error in Mr. Kinsella’s judgment.

In oklahoma the law states "if leather force is necesarry then leathal force will be used" just saying.

all this bs about stand your ground doesnt include shooting people who are running away and clearly not a threat to your life, what fawkin reality are some of you in..if you think someone running AWAY from you is a threat you need your head examined
