All the light references within the Bible are very VERY different in what they represent .. It is only through the foolishness of the men translating it that thought they knew everything, that we saw them (and the God references) to be all of one.

They are not, they never have been. You have all been deceived and will continue to allow yourself to be such as you do not listen to what is being told to you.

“Again, therefore, Jesus spake to them, saying, 'I am the light of the world; he who is following me shall not walk in the darkness, but he shall have the light of the life.' - John 8:12”

A statement warning you that he who follows will not be of darkness as you believe, but will be here for the purpose of saving you all. Warning that shall go unheeded.

“Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light." When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them. - John 12:36”

Another clear statement warning that there will come a time when he will be gone. And that you need to put your trust in the light, so that you can become its sons. Again this will go unheeded.

“While I am in the world, I am the light of the world. - John 9:5”

Jesus telling you that another will be the light of the world. That you are looking in the wrong place for your salvation from what comes.

“Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. – Isiah 58:8

Foretelling positive changes to the human race, with the next cycle when we will ‘go forth with the Lord at our rear.’

While you are at it with John, you should include this:

“He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light. The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. – John 1:7-9”

This is one of the most revealing quotes by far; coming before, knowing the true light; which is in everyone’. This resonates exactly true with my projections for our future and my writings within one of my first posts about the coming light being for ALL MAN! NOT JUST THOSE OF A PARTICULAR RELIGION

The NIV is far from correct. I suggest if you want to know the CORRECT meaning of this you re-translate it from its Hebrew version.

I will be doing this when I come to it. The Luke version from Hebrew is actually the most correct version that I have found so far. He has very cleverly hidden the truths within a version that wouldn't be removed from the Bible by the Romans who were deceived in their actions against the gnostic books.

Also note that before Jesus lets them know 'who to follow' he is in the house of Simon. It calls him a Leper but this is incorrect. He was in the house of Simon, the unworthy.

You will also notice that at the end of the prophecy of the crucifixion, Simon again appears where he "Takes the cross of religion" from the back of Jesus, just before he dies.

A death he knew he would suffer, that he would do willingly for the good of all mankind.

This is the PROPHECY OF WHAT IS NOW TAKING PLACE.

Jesus telling you that another will be the light of the world. That you are looking in the wrong place for your salvation from what comes.

When Jesus was talking about another to come to speak about the "light of the world", he was talking about sending John to preach throughout the world about Jesus' death and resurrection. He told John and his disciples to baptize all the people and the nations "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost".

John and the disciples witnessed the Holy Spirit descending on Jesus at the time of his own baptism. He told his disciples that the Holy Spirit would be with them to guide them and to remind them of the words that Jesus spoke. Jesus always said that the Father and the Holy Spirit bore witness of him and he bore witness of them.

Jesus was the light of the world while he was here. He sent the Holy Spirit to replace him after he ascended back to Heaven. The Holy Spirit has always been here to bear witness of God and Jesus.

I'm not fishing for a particular response. I try to do research on all of the gods and religions to become knowledgeable in each one, but as far as yours, I have never found enough information to satisfy my questions as to what the "meat" of it was all about. I misread you then and I'm sorry. I mistook your curiosity for positioning. I understand the confusion when trying to research the various paths of witchcraft. It is because it's a very eclectic group of religions and every culture in the world has their own versions. It's almost like trying to define "shamanism" in one sentence.

Contemporary witchcraft is mostly a collaboration of the traditions that happened to survive the Christian conquests and inquisitions. This is what is called "reconstruction paganism" or "pagan reconstructionism". The result is almost an "Esperanto" of pagan beliefs that actually allows for a lot of flexibility. The near extinction of these pantheons and beliefs by the Abrahamic faiths was actually a bitter sweet blessing as it is what led to modern witchcraft.

The way it is practiced now is almost like a plug-n-play religion where you can have your own personal relationship with your gods and still use the craft to honor them. For instance, there are Catholic witches who technically share the same religion as Pagan witches but they have different gods. So that's what I mean when I say that my religious path and my divine or holy path are separate things even though they are intertwined. A religion to me is just a way to worship or practice your faith but it's not the faith itself.

**PS: You are very wrong. The New Testament was originally transcribed into Hebrew and Ancient Greek, but was actually originally written in Aramaic. This is why there is large differences in the Ancient Greek and Hebrew versions as they were both translated from their original texts. I actually said that 'the most correct version in existence of these books is in Hebrew'. This is because modern Greek scholars have difficulty translating from ancient Greek even if they are fluent in the modern dialect.

The Hebrew versions were translated at a time when there existed men that were fluent in both tongues and Hebrew was a very close tongue to the language of the original texts. The Hebrew versions have remained largely untouched from their original versions and the Hebrew language has remained largely unchanged over that time so we can still (*reasonably*) accurately translate it from these texts.

I suggest you conduct more research before you talk of things you know very little about.

It's pretty clear that through Jesus' discourse with the pharisees in John 8:37-59 that he is our God. If one pays close attention to the conversation, we see how Jesus says that he honors his Father, but the pharsees dishonor Jesus because they were seeking to kill their Father. Watch how this unfolds:

John 8:48-59

48 Then the Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50 And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges. 51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”

52 Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’ 53 Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?”

Sir, the whole point of the Gospel message was to spread it around the globe. The universal language at the time was Greek. The native dialect of the Apostles was Aramaic, which was also the native dialect of Jesus of Nazareth-- the FIRST and ONLY. We are told TIME AND TIME AGAIN that Jesus came in the flesh

ONCE

which was the

FINAL

propitiation to appease the judgment of death as the result of corruption.

The only people that read Hebrew at that time, were educated Jews, mostly comprising those of the priestly order (Pharisees). This is a simple fact. Tap dance around it all you like, but your claim, and anyone else's for that matter, that the Gospel message was originally penned in Hebrew, or even Aramaic, proves itself wrong without my help.
That is not to say that there weren't Aramaic or Hebrew translations of the Gospel message that were penned. However, the time, effort and resources it took to scribe a document at that time, would have been used in the most prudent method in an effort of obedience to our Lord and Savior, Who said to spread His Gospel throughout the earth. The universal language that could be read by those whom were literate, was Greek. The universal language that could be understood by the illiterate when read to them, was Greek.
