For those who are having problems dealing with the outcome of the election, Bill Clinton has some advice:

Clinton Tells Democrats to Work on Image

Fri Nov 5, 5:17 PM ET

By SAM DOLNICK, Associated Press Writer

NEW YORK -
Former President Clinton has a message for Democrats inconsolable after President Bush's re-election: Buck up. It's not that bad. You need to improve your image.

"This election presents a great opportunity for President Bush and a great opportunity for Democrats, and the two are not necessarily in conflict," Clinton said in his first public remarks since Democratic Sen. John Kerry's defeat on Tuesday.

The last two-term Democratic president said the party needs to rework its image and it would be "a mistake for our party to sit around and ... whine about this and that or the other thing."

So, there you have it straight from Bill Clinton, the image man.

like him or not, Clinton certainly has a way with words. Hopefully, many will heed his words:

In his speech Friday to the Urban Land Institute, Clinton attributed Kerry's loss to the Democrats' failure to counter how Republicans portrayed them to rural and small-town voters.

"If we let people believe that our party doesn't believe in faith and family, doesn't believe in work and freedom, that's our fault," he said

It was sincerity he didn't have a way with. Unless you were a chick, then he sincerely wanted his way with you.

Perhaps Clinton is making this in response to comments made by Kerry campaign aides?
Kerry Aides Blame Puffy, Bill Clinton, Daughter

Perhaps because Kerry failed to heed Clinton's anti-gay advice?

Wonder what the comments will be concerning Clinton's praise of the Republican's?

The Republicans had a clear message, a good messenger, great organization and great strategy," he said. "The Republicans did a better job of turning out those who were already registered who hadn't voted" as well as bringing out their base.

It's apparent that Clinton is trying to tell the Dems. something concerning leaning to far left and if such is continued, that they won't see the Oval office for a generation or so....

I wonder if Clinton's coming off the sick-bed amounted to a "kiss-of-death" for the Kerry campaign?

Isn't Clinton coaching on image a bit like Ron Jeremy teaching Celibacy???

I am really curious about why people believe that the Democrats have moved too far to the left?
Really, I think that both parties have been moving to the right for quite some time and the Dems can be considered centrists. If they had run Kucinich for president, THEN I could see how they could be considered too far to the left.

Anyway, love him or hate him, I think Clinton knows what he's talking about. I gotta admit that the Republicans were much more effective at crafting an image and clearly conveying what they stood for than the Dems did.

Allright!

Take that World!

Bush won BABY! (I just love to pretend because I voted for him that when he wins it gives a little power to me, as if I'm a part of his group)
