So I'm sitting here and I can't sleep. And I'm reading through the thread on the parts I've missed and I have the biggest smile on my face now. This thread is full of love and kindness and funniness.

And I still think it's so funny I'm hanging out in the coffee thread drinking my ice water. I meant to tell you thank you for the water you gave me the other day

I missed out on A Fleetwood Mac reunion tour when I was in New Jersey doing construction because my boss wouldn't drive the extra 20 miles, even if I bought the entire work crew tickets, which I would of.

Rough night last night. Grandbaby climbed into bed with me and spent the majority of the night trying to kick me out of my own bed- completely unaware of her own kicking and arm flailing. I think I may have bruises, but my eyes can't see good enough to tell yet!

Good morning! I worked four hours overtime this morning and I'm feeling it!
I had to check in first and see how you all liked the breakfast meal. I see most of you did... especially Darkblade.
Gotta watch those windows; they'll sneak up on you.

Doc, sorry. I couldn't save any. Darkblade stole the last biscuit! And watch out for those security cameras, now that you know where they are.

Today is all clouds and it was drizzling out this morning. My son is at an art camp type thing today. He went yesterday as well and seemed to enjoy.

Man rough nights can be the worst really. She sounds like how a little natalia used to be. Now I don't move in my sleep.
Our son still tries to sneak in our bed sometimes. And honestly when he does, I don't mind, I feel they are only little once ya know. Anyway..when he ends up in our bed I know I'm not gonna get any sleep...he flings and flops and yeah, I get bruises! Hah!

Hope you can maybe catch a lil nap today and those bruises heal quick for ya I just saw where you said your eyes haven't adjusted to seeing any bruises yet...maybe ya don't have any

Sounds like my cat. She goes to sleep on my stomach, but gets off sometime during the night/day and keeps rooting me over to the side until I only have a couple of feet on the edge of the bed when I wake up.

One of these days I'm going to roll over and go "kerplunk" on the floor.

So far I've only found one bruise (on my ribs of all places). She must have been fighting ninjas in her sleep! I don't mind her crawling in bed with me. It's going to be happening frequently again. I've had a two week break- kind of: my daughter has only been working at one job full time instead of two like usual, but she starts a new job Monday so back to two full time jobs. That means the grandgirl will be back to living here and sleepovers with her mom only when she gets a day off from both jobs on the same day. It's been that way since she was born, so three years of it. She's a joy to have around, but sometimes granny gets tired!

I understand completely! I had the grandgirl beating me up in her sleep and my demonic cat kneading biscuits on my head, then attacking the curtains because the fan was blowing them (window above my head). I swear it's a conspiracy to deprive me of sleep!

Well you are a very kind hearted granny I will tell ya that!! I sometimes wish my boy had a grandma who was close with him or even a grand dad for that matter..but oh well. Such is life, and our boy has me and hubby and friends who are like his aunts and uncles.
