So you just find in coincidental that the IRS was targeting organizations that were in direct opposition to the current administration?

You funny person.

Most of these new groups were claiming to be Social Welfare organizations with minimal political involvement, and yet their web sites were loaded with politically focused content and their activities calendars were focused specifically on political events, with nothing suggesting any "social welfare" activities or concerns. This is unlike other such "progressive" organizations who have - over decades of ongoing existence - funded foodbanks and homeless shelters and outreach programs in local communities, while doing a small amount of targeted political campaign support for candidates who are individually focused on serving the poor and under-represented.

You hard-right folks haven't got much ability to stand back and really see how obvious you are with your "outrage" and crybaby tactics. The rest of the nation is rolling their eyes at your foolishness, even when you folks get the idiots in the mainstream media to run around like ants to promote your craziness.

This is just another nail in the coffin of the 21st century edition of American conservatism. It's nothing but a carnival sideshow, and most people either think it's stupid or they just don't give a damn about whatever it is that the hard-right is screaming about yet again. There's no future for this version of conservatism. It doesn't have a vision that includes anyone other than those who make up its intensely devoted membership.

So when the IRS asked for the contents of prayers, Facebook lists, friends, delayed for 15+ months, this was okay for you because it was conservative groups getting the crappy treatment.

If progressive groups were getting the same, there would be riots and much soiling of under garments.

The denial of the abuses is astounding here!

The term most often refers to the denial of blame in (formal or informal) chains of command, where senior figures assign responsibility to the lower ranks, and records of instructions given do not exist or are inaccessible, meaning independent confirmation of responsibility for the action is nearly impossible. In the case that illegal or otherwise disreputable and unpopular activities become public, high-ranking officials may deny any awareness of such act or any connection to the agents used to carry out such acts. The lack of evidence to the contrary ostensibly makes the denial plausible, that is, credible. The term typically implies forethought, such as intentionally setting up the conditions to plausibly avoid responsibility for one's (future) actions or knowledge.

Plausible deniability

The only "Foreword" to Obama's Agenda..... Its the page after the Cover, not to be confused with his Political catchphrase "Forward"........

Let's get real here. Of course what the IRS did was stupid at best, and perhaps a bit scandalous at worst, but the blame doesn't all trickle to the top as you want it to. You want this to be an indictment on the Obama administration, when the hard truth is that there are some f*%& ups in the lower levels of the gov't that f*^& up every now and then, and that's what's happening with all of these so-called "scandals". So, no, if progressive groups were getting the same during an "insert inept republican presidential candidate here" administration, there would not be riots. We'd likely say, wow that was stupid of the IRS and move on - which is what you should do.

No I find that they were targeting organizations that were having rallies promoting the eliminating of the government and taxes. These organizations were not penalized nor prevented from their "social welfare" operations. they were applying to be tax exempt.

This was really not comparable to the directions from the Bush white house to target antiwar groups. The difference being that the Obama did not direct this and Bush did. Oh where was your outrage.

You foolish person.

I can't really debate with someone who endorses an administration that uses enemy lists to punish those that don't agree with the current agenda.

I'll quote Hillary Clinton

“I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

Probably because of the insane things she's said in the past, like the time that she claimed that the Founding Fathers battled tirelessly to abolish slavery - here.

No body is paying attention to these phony trumpet up repub fueled scandals except the usual programmed right wing zombies.

Oh really?

Then don't read this CNN poll. hotair.com...

But 59% now say that the U.S government could have prevented the attack in Benghazi, up 11 points from last November. And only 37% say that congressional Republicans are overreacting in their handling of the matter, with 59% saying they’ve reacted appropriately.

Must be a lot of them 'Zombies'.
