Granite Mountain LDS Vault

I did a quick search here on ATS and didnt find anything on this so here it is...many years ago I was baptised into the LDS (mormon church) and back then this was brought to my attention and it baffled me then and still does(along with a lot of other teachings ) needless to say I wasnt involved with LDS for very long (maybe a year or two) It was always more questions than answers with them...So heres a video a quick tour...its one of those things that makes you ask..."Hmmm...whats really going on"???

I'm not sure if 200 year life time of the microfilms will suffice in the event of an...event.

We should start engraving them in granite

I've never heard of the LDS...if it's a mormon church like you say...I say...a valid project they got going.

the family-tree records... will allow future research to determine with +90% accuracy the human credentials one claims to have,,,


see, the project is really designed to screen out those descendents who have fallen-angel DNA in the genome

the nephelims' dark DNA code will, must be purged, from the Adamic branch of humankind,,,

but those who are not from the Adamic line of humans will initially be allowed to have less than 2% corrupt DNA code...or be sequestered into populations of like contaminated DNA people and allowed to die early via either dangerous work, GMO food, lack of life-lengthening medical treatments etc

Nothing nefarious going on. Really, it's a library of the human experience, told through the recorded information that was set down when it happened. It's amazing what you can find when you look into your family background. Using old Census records, I have learned I am 1/64th African American, and 1/16 First Nation (Canadian Native American). I am one of the whitest people I know.

I have heard stories of my great-grandfather, how he was a great thinker and performed cancer research. I found out that he actually murdered his maid, giving as the only explanation "She talked too much." He probably never left prison; his body is buried in the same town, without a marker until several years after his death.

The information is stored in a granite mountain to keep it safe. It's constantly being upgrade as far as technology goes to make it accessible to as many people as possible. It's shared with as many people as asks.

Face it, if TS ever does HTF, paper won't survive long, and records will be lost at their source. So this isn't done for the Church, or even for us. It's done for the generations ahead.

reply to post by MarioOnTheFlyWhen you are baptised into the mormon church what they then do is they start your family tree all your relatives living and dead then what they do is they use this info for is what they call the baptism of the dead...members volunteer their time by going through lists of dead people that were not baptized mormon and they rebaptise them so they have a chance to enter their kingdom of heaven...Its not uncommon for one person to get baptised 20-30 times in a session....this takes place in the mormon temples...in a huge baptimal font...when I found out about this little church ritual I was like WTF and I was outta there....

Presumably the reason for al the storage is the baptism and marriage ceremonies performed (in the temples) for
all these dead people.
I always thought this to be just another religious scam to keep the believers busy doing church work that will never really end....(who can trace their lineage all the way back?to adam?)
Meantimes i never heard of the eugencs side of your accusation, though it is indeed a possibility.

The LDS church is the official name of the Mormon church; that's just a nickname, but one that is so prevalent that everyone thinks that's the official name.

I've never been in that vault, but my grandma got to go in there one time for research. She got to look at a bunch of old journals of our ancestors and things like that. She wasn't allowed to take anything out (and I don't think she was even allowed to take copies of anything out) but they let her look at pretty much anything she wanted.

It is a pretty interesting facility. Stretches into the mountain about 600 feet. It is temperature controlled. They have a fairly expensive air filtration system. And some pretty hefty security doors.

Even more interesting, is that there is another storage vault located just a mile away. But the other vault is owned by Perpetual Storage, Inc. and provides data storage mostly for corporations.
