US plans massive military drills in Persian Gulf

The United States is planning to stage a military exercise in the Persian Gulf. Washington says the drills are aimed at practicing minesweeping and protection of trade ships. More than thirty US allies, including Great Britain and most of the Arabian monarchies, will take part in the drills. The step is seen by some experts in Russia as pressure against Iran ahead of its Presidential election.

I think we all agree that these drills are part of the pre election pressure plan orchestrated by the western allies against Iran...The Russian dude pretty much summed it up.
