Location, location, location. If Washington D.C. is the nexus that removes all intelligent thought and common sense from humans, then this explains everything...

Someone throw a piece of skull from the museum in a hole so they could say that Washington DC is the first place humanoids were found? I don't think a lot of the people in Washington act like real humans, maybe it is their ancestor.
